چکیده مقالهMetallic nanoparticles are being utilized in every phase of science along with engineering including medical fields and are still charming the scientists to explore new dimensions for their respective worth which is generally attributed to their corresponding small sizes [1]. Green synthesis method of nanoparticles is evolution from the nanobiotechnology. It is a low cost, environmentbenign, non toxic and large scale up process [2]. monodisperse zero valent iron nanoparticles (nZVI) using Menthapiperita water extract is described.Different reaction parameters (Volume ratio of iron salt solution to extract, temperature and reaction time)were investigation to synthesize nZVI with controlled size nanoparticle. nZVI were characterized in terms of synthesis, capping functionalities (phenolic compounds) and microscopic evaluation by UV-Visible spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR)spectroscopy and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM).
