Abstract

FeCo nanowiresof30nmdiameterwerefabricatedbyacelectrodepositioninnanoporesofalumina templatesatdifferentelectrolyteconcentrationsandvariouselectrodepositionfrequencies.Theeffect of annealingonmicrostructuresandmagneticpropertiesofthenanowiresfabricatedundervarious conditionswasinvestigated.Althoughmagneticpropertiesofas-depositednanowireswerefrequency independent,afterannealingsomevariationswereseeninthoseproperties.Themaximumcoercivityof as-depositedFexCo1x nanowiresalongthenanowireaxiswasfoundat50at%Fe.Thecrystalline structureofthenanowireswasconcentrationindependentandrevealedabccstructureforthe FexCo1x containingatleast10at%Co.Acoercivityof2950Oewasobtainedfor1000Hz-ac electrodepositedFe0.64Co0.36 nanowires,annealedat570 1C.
