Abstract

In this paper, we consider a massless fermion field in a uniform electric field background in a 3 dimensional de Sitter spacetime. We obtain the in-vacuum expectation value of the current operator. Appling the adiabatic subtraction regularization scheme, we show that the linear ultraviolet divergence is removed and a finite expression obtain.
