Abstract
Today, nanotechnology has solved many biomedical problems and revolutionized health and pharmacy. Among metal nanoparticles, silver nanoparticles have received a lot of attention due to their wide range of applications such as antiviral, anticancer, antibacterial, catalytic, optoelectronic and medical activities. Among the properties of silver nanoparticles are non-toxic, high stability, hydrophilicity, thermal resistance, non-creation and increase of resistance in microorganisms. Due to the use of nanoparticles in life sciences and medicine, their preparation is increasing and on the other hand, due to increasing awareness of biological processes and green chemistry, the use of environmentally friendly methods to prepare Non-toxic nanomaterials have become essential. The chicory family is one of the largest plant families. Its many different genera and species, its global distribution, and the fact that it is composed of many beneficial plants have made it the subject of many studies. The present study is a qualitative analytical study that tries to introduce medicinal plants susceptible to making silver nanoparticles by carefully examining various internal and external sources. A review of the researchers' findings indicates that the production of silver nanoparticles synthesized from medicinal plants of this functional family is applicable and environmentally friendly and has antibacterial, antimicrobial and anti-cancer activities.
