Abstract

In this research, we can produce the large diameter TiO2 nanotubes by electrochemical anodization at various
high anodization voltages from 150 V to 220 V. The as synthesized products were characterized by powder X-ray
diffraction (XRD), field-emission scanning electronic microscopy (FE-SEM) and UV–Vis diffuse reflectance
spectroscopy analysis (UV–Vis). The interpore distance and bandgap of the nanotubes is increased with enhanced
anodization voltage. The large diameter TiO2 nanotubes in these high voltages showed higher solar cell efficiency (energy
conversion efficiency improved by 36.4 %) compared with conventional TiO2 nanotube arrays
