چکیده مقاله
In this paper, feasibility study of copper sulfide-oxide minerals flotation of Ghozlo mine with 3.8% Cu was done using designed experiments by Response Surface Method (RSM). In the first step of flotation, copper sulfide minerals were floated and then in the second step, copper oxide minerals were floated by surface activation. In the first stage of process, variables were including: a) PH between 7 to 10, b) the dosage of potassium amyl xanthate (KAX) between 100 to 200 g/t and c) the dosage of Sodium silicate as dispersant with between 500 to 1500 g/t. In the applied method, liner model was fitted to respond copper recovery. The copper oxide flotation process variables were including: a) PH between 8 to 11, b) the dosage of potassium amyl xanthate (KAX) between 50 to 150 g/t, C) the dosage of Sodium sulfide (Na2S) between 1000 and 3000 g/t. D) the dosage of Sodium silicate between 250 to 750 g/t, E) Time conditioner for sodium sulfite which was between 4 to 8 minutes. Linear models were fitted for responses of copper grade and recovery, too. Copper grade and recovery rates of optimum condition were obtained respectively 17.03% and 47% in the first step, and 16.33% and 37.13% in the second step. Accordingly, in summation of two stages, copper recovery of 84.13% was achieved
