Abstract

This study investigates the one-pot synthesis and effect of mercaptobenzimidazole as a corrosion inhibitor for copper in acidic environments. By examining pH buffering and inhibition of specific corrosion mechanisms, this research provides fundamental insights to enhance corrosion control strategies in industrial applications.
