Abstract
SiO2/Taurine nanoparticles, possessing advantages such as facile preparation, high acidity, reusability and stability, were investigated as catalysts for the synthesis of trisubstituted imidazoles.The catalytic activity was evaluated through the reaction of various aldehydes, ammonium acetate, and benzyl/benzoin under ultrasound irradiation at ambient temperature and optimized conditions
