Abstract

Fe3O4@nano-dextrin–OPO3H2 as a bio-based nano-catalyst was successfully synthesized via preparation of Fe3O4@nanodextrin as a magnetic core–shell structure followed by treatment with P4O10. The nano-catalyst was characterized by FT-IR, EDX, FESEM, XRD, VSM and TGA. It has been proved that such a heterogeneous catalyst shows high efciency for the synthesis of 4H-pyrimido[2,1-b]benzothiazole derivatives via a one-pot three-component reaction between aldehyde, ethyl acetoacetate, and 2-aminobenzothiazole under solvent-free conditions at 85 °C. The major advantages of the present methodology are good yields of products with readily available, eco-friendly, easy separation and reusability of the catalyst.
