Abstract

In this study, a facile method for preparing PbS/graphene nanocomposite was assisted via a fast and one step solvothermal method. Graphite oxide was prepared by Hummers method and treated by ultrasonic waves to obtain graphene oxide. According to PL spectra, it was remarkable that the luminescence intensity over PbS/graphene nanocomposite is very lower than of pure PbS nanostructures, due to the strong interaction between them. For PbS nanostructures, maximum emission peak centered at around 343 nm when excited at 275 nm. Cyclic voltammetry was investigated to estimate the electrochemical properties of PbS nanostructures and PbS / graphene. The obtained products has been characterized by available methods like Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Cyclic voltammetry (CV), PL spectra and UV-Vis absorption spectra.
