Isfahan is one of the most important cities of the central plateau of Iran, which despite its political adversity, has maintained its prestige since
Ancient times and in some historical periods have left a special role as political center of Iran. Political centrality the history and economy of this city has paved the way for the expansion of the city and the emergence of different neighborhoods of different classes.
The city of Jay from before Islam to The fourth century A.H is the center of Isfahan and one of the most important cities of Sassanid Iran and the Islamic world. After that, the construction of the gates and then the wall of the city of Judea reduced its importance and instead the city of Judea became the center of Isfahan and one of the most important cities in the Islamic world and one of the main centers of the province.
In this paper, we seek to answer the questions including questions:
Elements of Isfahan quarters comparable to physical elements of the formation of quarters in the central regions of Iran and The role of Jews as its primary residents in the formation of the quarter of the Jubareh . The research method used in this research is descriptive – analytic that is based on the building and effects in the historical tissue of this range and historical evidence and reports in texts in the time period before Islam until the Safavid period.
