چکیده مقاله

The vibration analysis of cylindrical panels under constant axial loads is studied. In this paper, Love’s first approximation theory is utilized to derive the equations of motion taking into account the effects of the centrifugal force, coriolis acceleration and initial hoop tension. The Navier method is used to investigate critical angle and stability of cylindrical panels subjected to constant axial loads. To validate the proposed analysis, comparisons are made with existing results in the literature and good agreement is obtained.
