چکیده مقاله

Multicomponent reactions (MCRs) are attractive synthetic strategy, because complex products are formed in a single step and diversity can be simply achieved by varying the reaction components [1]. The synthesis of pyrimido[4,5-b]quinoline derivatives have been considered as an interesting field because of their potentially broad range of biological and pharmacological properties such as antioxidant [2], antitumor [3] and antiviral activities [4]. Functionalized magnetic nanoparticles )as catalyst( can be easily separated and recycled from the reaction mixture by an external magnet. This kind of separation prevents the loss of solid catalyst and is not timeconsuming. It also enhances products purity and optimizes operational costs [5-8]. Here, nano CoFe2O4 modified with SO3H groups was used in simple and green one step multicomponent reaction for the synthesis of Dihydropyrimido[4,5-b] quinolinetrione in ethanol as solvent at 80C (Scheme 1). The reaction products were obtained in high to excellent yields and characterized with IHNMR, 13CNMR and FTIR spectroscopic methods.
