Synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives in the presence of aminated multiwalled carbon nanotubes

چکیده مقاله

A facile and highly efficient one-pot synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives (1,4-DHPs) is reported via three component condensation reaction of aldehyde, ethyl acetoacetate and ammonium acetate in the presence of a catalytic amount of CNT-NH2 under thermal conditions. Benzaldehyde derivatives have been used to react with ethyl acetoacetate and ammonium acetate in the presence of CNT-NH2 and EtOH as solvents at 85˚C. The reactions were completed with in 3-4 h and expected products obtained in high to exellent yields.
