Abstract
An enhanced discharge capacity of AgO cathode material is obtained by applying a surface layer comprising fluorite type La2Pb2O7 nanoparticles. Preparing of the La2Pb2O7 (LPO) nanoparticles is proceeded by facile coprecipitation method and the applies on the surface of as-prepared AgO using simple physical mixing process. Accurate characterizations disclose that the surface of AgO particles are thoroughly coated with La2Pb2O7 nanoparticles.
