Efficient synthesis and antibacterial evaluation of some substituted β-hydroxy-1,2,3-triazoles

Abstract

The purpose of this study was preparation of some various β-hydroxy-1,2,3-triazole deriva- tives catalyzed by copper imprinted periodic mesoporous organosilica nanocomposite (Cu / PMO NC) via multicomponent reaction in aqueous media using click chemistry. The prepared triazoles were screened in vitro for antimicrobial activity against a set of 12 mi- croorganisms. The results of this study were shown that most of compounds had antibac- terial activity against gram positive bacteria and some compounds had weak antifungal activity.
