The First International Workshop of University of Kashan on Large-Scale Photovoltaic Systems

With the efforts of International Scientific Cooperation Office and Energy Research Institute of University of Kashan, the first International Workshop on Photovoltaic Solar Systems on September 6-10 2018 at University of Kashan. Dr. Mohammad Nazififard, the instructor of this international workshop and faculty member at department of Energy Systems Engineering of University of Kashan stated that with this international workshop was aimed at presenting the technical knowledge of a large-scale photovoltaic power plant to 24 professors of several Iraqi universities (including Baghdad, Mustansiriya, Nahrain, Mousl, and Dhi-qar). During this 3-day workshop, the basics and principals of design, implementation, operational engineering, economic evaluation, and financing solutions for photovoltaic power plant projects were taught. Dr. Mohammad Nazififard added that the attendees of this international workshop visited the power plant located at University of Kashan in addition to reviewing the technical design requirements. With the closure of the workshop, the participants received their certificates from chancellor of the University of Kashan.
