Abstract

In addition to the financial consequences, turning the blind and partially sighted to entrepreneurship can create significant qualitative values ​​for various levels of individual and social life. The current research aims to identify and analyze the requirements and consequences of entrepreneurship of blind and partially sighted people with a qualitative approach based on the data obtained from 8 semi-structured interviews with blind and partially sighted entrepreneurs in different cities of Iran who were selected by purposive sampling method.Data analysis using the thematic analysis method showed that individual agency including individual beliefs, personality traits and general and specialized knowledge and external facilitators including the positive attitude of others, supportive incentives, environmental accessibility and required technologies as the most important requirements for the success of the blind. And the visually impaired people can be considered in entrepreneurship.
