Herbal Liposomes; Specialized Carriers of Plant Molecules

Abstract

Plants, as valuable natural blessings, have molecules with medicinal properties that have received great attention from the past to the present day. on the other hand, the development of new drug delivery systems such as liposomes are important for the transfer of medicinal herbal molecules. There are many advantages to using liposomes as drug carriers, including increasing stability and reducing drug toxicity and delivering the drug to a specific point in the body. However, there are many challenges in the use of liposomes, which hopefully will be resolved in the future and plant molecules will be used in the treatment of diseases and disorders.
