| Keywords | The introduction of metalic impurities into transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) nanoribbons represents an effective strategy for optimizing their structural, electronic, and magnetic properties toward advanced tunable applications. In this study, we investigate the electronic and magnetic characteristics of armchair MoSe2 nanoribbons doped with manganese (Mn) and chromium (Cr) impurities. The dopants are incorporated via in situ substitution within the MoSe2 nanoribbons, and the resulting properties are analyzed using firstprinciples calculations combined with the mode, matching transfer formalism. The results show that Mn and Cr doping induces magnetic semiconducting behavior with tunable band gaps and, for specific substitutional configurations, half, metallicity. The thermoelectric analysis reveals spin, polarized thermal currents accompanied by a pronounced spin Seebeck effect. These findings demonstrate that impurity doping provides a robust route for engineering spin, dependent electronic and thermoelectric properties in TMD nanoribbons, paving the way for their application in next, generation spintronic and nanoscale thermoelectric devices. |
