Abstract

This study systematically investigates the phototransferred thermoluminescence (PTTL) properties of manganese-doped zinc phosphate (Zn3(PO4)2:Mn) nanoparticles, with particular emphasis on dose recovery and reassessment capability. The nanoparticles were synthesized via a co-precipitation method, and their structural characteristics were analyzed using XRD, SEM, and EDS techniques. The optimum manganese doping concentration was determined to be 0.2 mol%. To evaluate the thermoluminescence transfer properties, the samples were irradiated with gamma rays in the dose range of 10, 50, 100, 500, and 1000 Gy using a60Co source, followed by ultraviolet stimulation using a Philips TUV 55 W HO G55T8 UVC lamp. The thermoluminescence glow curve exhibited a dominant peak at 454 K, which deconvolution analysis revealed to consist of two overlapping peaks at 452 K and 518 K. The linear dose response of the fabricated dosimeter was assessed under different deep trap filling conditions and various UV irradiation durations. Furthermore, the PTTL behavior of Zn3(PO4)2:Mn was analyzed in terms of isothermal decay and initial dose recovery characteristics. The main PTTL glow peak demonstr
