چکیده مقاله

Calcium fluoride nanoparticles doped with thulium were synthesized by using the hydrothermal method. The prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The crystallite size of about 40 nm was estimated employing Scherer’s formula. Its shape and size were also observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The thermoluminescence characteristics of this nanoparticle in UVC irradiation were studied. Computerized glow curve deconvolution (CGCD) technique revealed three overlapped thermoluminescence glow peaks at around 383, 415 and 463 K in the complex thermoluminescence glow curve of this phosphor. Other thermoluminescence properties of this phosphor such as fading and dose response, recommend it as a good candidate for UV dosimetry.
