Abstract
Unbridled urbanization growth and the importance of modern city life have caused complex and unpredictable problems in the system of today's cities, Therefore, it is very important to have a long-term scenario and perspective in order to solve the problems of cities and metropolises of the modern age, so it is necessary to pay attention to sustainable smart cities for the future of cities and to reduce the problems of urbanization. In this regard, the current research aims to analyze the optimal model of a sustainable smart city with a future research approach. The research method is descriptive-analytical, the results of the research show that in order to have a smart and sustainable city for the future, attention should be paid to urban infrastructure, having a long-term vision for the future of the city, using information and communication technology, having the necessary financial resources, education, culture and Citizen participation is essential. In fact, the smart city; It is a privileged place for sustainable development, where it deals with issues such as urban innovation, updating urban infrastructure, reducing traffic load and using modern technology in cities.
