Abstract:

The physical, disorderly and uncontrolled expansion of cities is one of the problems of third world urbanization in the present era. As in a continuous process, the physical boundaries and physical spaces of the city grow in vertical and horizontal directions in terms of quantity and quality, and if this procedure is fast and without a plan, it creates informal settlement. Informal housing is the result of increasing population growth and migration and is one of the acute problems of cities due to its close relationship with poverty. The city of Isfahan, especially in the last two decades, has faced the problem of informal settlement. The present study is a descriptive-analytical study129 and the main purpose of this study is to provide new solutions and methods using modeling in informal settlements of Isfahan, District 15 of the municipality. The sample size was calculated by Cochran's formula of 191 questionnaires and the reliability of the research instrument was estimated with Cronbach's alpha 0. 747. For descriptive and inferential data analysis, statistical capability in SPSS software and structural equation modeling in AMOS software and ARC GIS mapping were used. The status of economic, social, physical, environmental and empowerment indicators was assessed with a one-sample t-test. The result of using the T-test at 95% confidence level showed that the status of indicators in the study area is not acceptable and the average They are lower than average, which confirms the effectiveness of all variables under study. The result of analysis of structural equation modeling findings indicates that among the indicators measured, the environmental index has the highest factor load with a regression weight of 0.97 And below the index of benches and trash cans with a regression weight of 0.72 has the highest factor load.
