Investigating solutions for developing social capital and creating public motivation in urban regeneration projects (Case study: District 6 of Isfahan Municipality)

Abstract:

The urban regeneration approach has a wide and wide range of social, economic considerations، Cultural and environmental, due to the continuous interaction between these considerations, urban regeneration can also include concepts and strategies such as social capital, hence the goal The present study was able to increase social capital by using the potentials of people’s participation and motivating to improve quality of life, social bonding، Building trust and building relationships to work together to achieve urban regeneration goals, as well as creating new urban spaces, especially communal spaces, to preserve social values and to involve people in decision-making and planning Planning the City Regeneration Process. In order to achieve this goal, theoretical discussions were conducted through library studies and the collection of analytical information required through field observations (interview with citizens residing in the region6). The main tool of the research is the questionnaire, which has been approved using its formal validity. The tool reliability test, using the Kronbach Alpha coefficient of 946/0, indicates the reliability of the research findings at the confidence level of 95 percent. The statistical population of the research, the total number of residents of the 6 th district of Isfahan, whose sample size was calculated using the Cochran formula, 250 people, which was randomly distributed by class sampling. Descriptive and inferential analyses of the information collected using SPSS software and Kendall statistical tests have been carried out. For structural equation modeling analysis, AMOS software has been used. The results indicate that due to a significant level of less than 05/0, it shows a significant relationship between the participation rate of people and urban reproduction. In addition, in the correlation between the status of social capital and the dimensions of recreating are correlated from the residents' point of view, and social capital indicators can affect the quality of recreating the city of District 6 be. The results of the application of structural equation modeling of the highest social capital index of the effect on the recreating process of Isfahan region 6 are dedicated to the sense of belonging and social institutions with a factor load of 0/80.
