Abstract

In modern life, daily physical activity is relatively
reduced, which is why the incidence of some diseases associated with
overweight and obesity, such as hypertension, diabetes and other
chronic illnesses, even in young people are observed. Obesity and
overweight is one of the most common metabolic disorders in
industrialized countries and in developing countries. One
consequence of pathological obesity is cardiovascular disease and
metabolic syndrome. In the past, it was believed that adipose tissue
was ineffective and served only for storing triglycerides. In this
review article, it was tried to refer to the esteemed scientific sources
about physical activity and responses of leptin.
