Abstract

Benzopyran derivatives depict diverse pharmacological and these compounds form a constructive segment of many natural vintage which are widely distributed in the plant regality and as a result, they are important because of their biological properties. In this research, the yolk-shell NiFe2O4@mSiO2 nanocomposites were prepared and specify with FT-IR, XRD, EDX, FE-SEM, VSM, BET and Mapping analyses. The yolk-shell NiFe2O4@mSiO2 nanocomposites evaluated in one pot multi component catalytic reaction for the preparation of benzopyran derivatives. Overall, the results of this investigation show that the yolk-shell NiFe2O4@mSiO2 nanocomposites could be undertaking catalysts for these multicomponent reactions. The catalytic feature of NiFe2O4@mSiO2 nanocomposites was confirmed by conversion of the benzaldehydes into benzopyrans. More notably, the catalyst could be separated from the reaction mixture by an external magnet and reused eight times without any loss activity.
