چکیده مقاله

‎ The effect of ionic liquids on the gas permeation properties of polyurethane- ZnO ‎nanoparticle mixed matrix membranes was investigated. Ionic liquid and commercially ZnO ‎nanoparticles were used as fillers and the membranes were prepared by casting-evaporation ‎method. The structural characteristics of the membranes were studied by Fourier Transform ‎Infrared spectrometer (FT-IR), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM) and ‎thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) to confirm some interaction between the PU and IL and ‎nanoparticles and the changes induced in PU micro phase in the presence of ZnO, IL. Also the ‎transport performances of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4) and nitrogen (N2) were ‎investigated. Our results showed that the RTIL component may have served as an interfacial ‎material for better adhesion between the inorganic ZnO surface and organic polymer.‎
