Fabrication of a multilayer PEBA/PAN/PE composite membrane by spin coater

چکیده مقاله

In this study, PEBA/PAN/PE composite membrane was manufactured by spin coating method. PAN (Polyacrilonitrile) was used as a support layer and was formed on PE (Polyester). PEBA (Polyether block amide) was coated on PAN/PE composite substrate as an active layer. The formation of the prepared membrane was proved by SEM and FTIR analyses. The gas permeation performance of this membrane was evaluated by measuring the pure gas permeability of N2. Experimental results showed low permeability for N2 permeation, so it can be a suitable membrane for gas separation.
