Abstract
Poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA)-sodium Alginate (SA)/graphene oxide (GO) biocomposite nanofibers have been successfully prepared by casting. The PVA-SA nanofibers was composited with 0, 1, 5 and 10 wt% of GO. Curcumin as drug loaded in nancomposites and the effect of graphene oxide amount on drug release studied. It revealed that the graphene oxide decrease curcumin release rate. FTIR analyses showed that graphene oxide was dispersed in polymeric matrix completely and functional groups was intracted with surface of Graphene oxide. The results showed that PVA-SA/GO nanofibers are good candidate for drug delivery system.
