Long Plasma Column With a Non-Coaxial Dielectric Rod Irradiated by an Electromagnetic Wave

The scattering of a plane electromagnetic wave from dielectric rod surrounded by an eccentrically plasma layer is investigated. The graphs of backscattering cross section, scattering pattern and also their corresponding polarized charge density are presented. Investigation has been done on the effects of system parameters and axis separation on the scattered wave resonances.
