چکیده مقاله

Doping rare earth elements into Mn-Co spinel oxide (MCO) could improve conductivity and bonding of coated interconnects applied for solid oxide fuel cells. In the present study, YxMn1.5-x/2Co1.5-x/2O4 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.3) compounds were synthesized via sol-gel based Pechini method. The phase and microstructure of synthesized spinel nanopowders were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scannig electron microscopy (SEM) equipped with EDS. The resulting XRD data reveal that a pure phase with spinel structure was obtained for doped spinels. The microstructural characteristics of MCO, Y0.15MCO, and Y0.3MCO synthesized powders were made up of nano- particles as large as 40-92, 56-61, and 30-53 nm in soft agglomerates, respectively.
