چکیده مقاله

Deformation behavior of sever plastic deformed AA6061-SiC nanostructured composite was investigated using uniaxial compression tests at temperatures from 350 to 500oC and strain rates from 0.001 to 0.1 s-1. Stress increases to a peak value, then decreases monotonically until reaching a steady state. The dependence of stress on temperature and strain rate was fitted to a sinh-Arrhenius equation and characterized by the Zener–Hollomon parameter. The activation energy of deformation was 203 kJ mol−1, close to the solution treated Al-Mg-Si alloys and higher than 143 kJ mol−1 for the pure aluminum.
