DR. GHANBARI

Mohammad Ghanbari was born in 1982 in Iran. He chose organic chemistry as specialization and obtained his M.Sc. under the supervision of Prof. Khosrow Jadidi and Dr. Dawood Asgari at Shahid Beheshti University in 2007.
In 2007, he started his Ph.D. studies at the University of Tehran under the supervision of Prof. Ebrahim Kianmehr. During his Ph.D., he worked on the development of Indole Functionalization via Palladium-Catalyzed Reactions.
Before obtaining his PhD, he joined the group of Prof. A. Stephen K. Hashmi at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg as a Visiting Scientist in 2011. While at Hiedelberg, he worked on Methodology in Gold Catalysis. He obtained his PhD in 2012.
In 2013, Mohammad Ghanbari was appointed in the Department of Organic Chemistry at University of Kashan. His research program is based on synthetic organic and organometallic chemistry. His principal focus of research is the development and application of new catalytic methods for the synthesis of bioactive compounds.
