The role of the plant, like other designs of Kashan carpets, has a special place. The designs of Kashan carpets have been mostly presented with elastic and bergamot motifs, but the role of the plant has maintained its place among other designs. In this research, the characteristics of the role of the bush, the evolution of the role of the bush from the prehistoric period to the contemporary period, the type of application of the role of the bush in each period of history, how it entered Kashan carpet, types of motifs and designs from this role. The position and innovation of the role of the idol in the contemporary period of Kashan carpets have been discussed. Objectives of the research: To study the evolution of the role of the idol before Islam to the contemporary period - Identification and conditions of the role of the idol in Kashan carpet. questions; How has the role of the idol evolved from pre-Islamic times to the contemporary period? How did the role of Bateh in Kashan design and engraving come about? Hypothesis; The evolution of the design and role of the idol in Kashan carpet has been effective.
