چکیده مقاله
In this paper, using the Monte Carlo (MC) method, the amounts of time of return laser pulse from a cloudy environment with absorption and scattering coefficients are simulated. The Environment could be single, multi-cloud with successive boundaries, or bordered and mixed (such as fog with a combination of particles of 1 to 10μm). A pulse width of 30ns at the wavelength of 900nm has been used. An increase in dispersion will increase the return rate of the number of photons and the return pulse width. Fog or mixed cloud is between high and low dispersion, and while traveling distance by the laser pulse and the number of dispersion increases, the pulse return time and the time of return pulse increase. At a distance of 100m, even the number of 1010 photons does not achieve a good simulation result, and in this case, the return laser pulse width reaches 4500ns, which is too wide for a normal detector.
