Abstract
In this article we inveastigate some properties of weakly prime ideals in
arbitrary unital rings and we generalize the notion of weakly semiprime ideal to arbitrary unital rings. The relationship among the families of weakly prime ideals, prime
ideals, semiprime ideals and weakly semiprime ideals of a ring R is considered. Also, the
structure of such ideals on duo rings is described
