چکیده مقاله

Copper nanoparticles have prospective applications in optics, electronics, and medicine and in manufacturing of lubrications, nanofluids, conductive films, and antimicrobial agents. Biological synthesis has become an important means of producing nanoparticles. Synthesis of nanoparticles by physical and chemical approaches are eco-unfriendly and expensive. Biological method provides a feasible, safe and biocompatible alternative. In this study, synthesis of copper nanoparticles is reported by gram-positive bacterial strain. The bacterial strains were isolated from soil samples. The supernatant of bacterial strain was added to the reaction solution containing 1mM of Copper (II) chloride. Extracellular synthesis of copper nanoparticles was confirmed by a Color changes to green and UV–Vis absorption at 662 nm. The current study is a demonstration of an efficient synthesis of stable copper nanoparticle by a bacterial strain.
