چکیده مقاله

Research and development of smart materials and smart structural systems has been actively used during the last decade. Four fundamental characteristics are particularly relevant in distinguishing a smart material from the traditional materials used, capability of property change, capability for energy exchange, discrete size location and reversibility. The solid state synthesis of a thermochromic property change is carried out at room temperature. This compound is synthesized by mechanochemical approach. This compound changes its color from orange at room temperature to colorless at elevated temperature. This study demonstrates that the color of the synthesized compound is controlled by temperature and the thermochromism property of this compound is reversible as the heating-cooling cycle can be repeated for several times.
