چکیده مقاله
Calcium manganate-based materials are synthesized through different chemical procedures, such as precipitation, hydrothermal, and sol-gel. These materials are used as electrode materials for energy storage devices. The resultant samples in the sol-gel synthesis method show binary metal oxide phases. However, precipitation or hydrothermal methods led to the synthesis of manganese oxide. The sol-gel method was selected as the optimal procedure, and the effect of the type of fuel (monosaccharide and disaccharide) was investigated on the morphology, purity, and electrochemical properties of samples prepared via the sol-gel. The optimal sample with purity of Ca2Mn3O8/CaMn3O6 presents higher hydrogen storage capacity in the 2.0 M KOH electrolyte and assembled three-electrode system.
