چکیده مقاله
Electrode materials based on cobalt molybdate compounds were developed using the molten salt technique for
electrochemical hydrogen storage (EHS). Flowers-shaped nanoplate-based structures have been created, as seen
by field emission scanning electron microscopes. In the process of synthesis, a comparison was made between the
effects of utilizing various combinations of eutectic salts and amounts of activated carbon. These conditions led
to preparation of samples with different phase purities and morphologies. Also, the detailed information derived
from X-ray diffraction patterns of resultant samples in terms of microstructural properties, crystallite size and
strain. In the present study, three-electrode cells were collected, galvanostatic cycling was applied with a one
milliampere charge-discharge current, and cyclic voltammograms of hydrogen adsorption and desorption activities
were analyzed. Cobalt molybdate structures in their purest form were used to make a comparison between
the hydrogen storage capacities of Co2Mo3O8 (520 mAhg
