چکیده مقاله

The antioxidant activity was determined with a 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity test. The radical has an absorption band at 515 nm which disappears upon reduction by the antioxidant compounds present in the samples, resulting in an inverse correlation ofthe remaining absorbance at 515 nm to the antioxidant activity of the sample.
