چکیده مقاله

The purpose of this study is exploit experimental design in the optimization of quantum yield (QY) of carbon dots (CDs) to develop their applications. The fluorescence quantum yield is an inherent property of a fluorophore and momentous for the characterization of novel fluorescent probe and one of the most important parameters for comparing fluorophores. It is an important criterion of suitability for the optical quality of a fluorophore. Potential applications of CDs in a variety of fields (bio-imaging, photocatalysis, drug delivery, fluorescent probing and analysis and light emitting diode materials) lead to discover novel, facile and low cost approaches for synthesize them.
