چکیده مقاله

Satureja hortensis L. is commonly grown in different climatic regions of Iran. Antioxidant activity is one of the interesting properties of Satureja hortensis L. essential oil [1]. Essential oils were tested for their free radical scavenging activity using 1,1 -diphenyl-2- picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) assay to identify the peaks potentially responsible for the antioxidant activity from chromatographic fingerprints. In order to identify the peaks responsible for the antioxidant activity, several linear multivariate calibration techniques were applied to the chromatographic fingerprints of S. hortensis L. essential oil [2].
