Oliveria decumbens Vent. is an endemic plant of Flora Iranica. One of the interesting properties of Oliveria decumbens Vent. essential oil is good antioxidant activity [1]. The purpose of this study is identification of the main components that are responsible for antioxidant activity. The antioxidant activity of Oliveria decumbens Vent essential oil was determined using a 1,1 -diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity test and by chromatographic fingerprints and chemometrics, we try to determine important compounds that contribute in the antioxidant property Oliveria decumbens Vent essential oil samples [2].
