Sintering behavior, dielectric and piezoelectric properties of sodium potassium niobate-based ceramics prepared bysingle step and two-step sintering

چکیده مقاله

In thiswork(1–x) K0.48Na0.48Li0.04Nb0.96Ta0.04O3–xSrTiO3 (0.0rxr0.10) ceramicswerefabricatedviasinglestepsintering(SSS)aswellas two-step sintering(TSS)methods.InvestigationofthesinteringbehaviorofceramicsrevealedthatTSScouldreducesinteringtemperature effectively anditenhancesdensification. TherelativedensitiesofTSSedceramicswereabout3%higherthanSSSedones.Coexistenceof orthorhombic andtetragonalsymmetriesinceramiccontaining1%SrTiO3, resultedinmaximumpiezoelectricconstantcomparedtoothers. Higher densityandloweralkalielementslossinTSSedceramicsimproveddielectricandpiezoelectricpropertiescomparedtoSSSedceramics. Piezoelectric constantofthe0.99KNNLT–0.01ST ceramicsinteredviaSSSandTSSwasmeasuredat208and278pC/N,respectively.
