Abstract
A highly specific electrochemical sensor has been created in this study to identify and detect the medication quetiapine (QTPF). To prepare this electrochemical sensor, the modification of the carbon paste electrode (CPE) by nanocomposite of the iron, lithium ions and manganese based on Nitro-doped carbon made by carbon synthesis, favorable results in raising the limit of detection and identification of QTPF has been done. The produced nanocomposites were examined using a scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR). By using cyclic voltammetry, differential Pulse Voltammetry, chronoamperometry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), the electrochemical behavior of this drug with the modified electrode was examined. Also, the diffusion coefficient (D) was calculated as 5.7397 ×10 5 cm 2 s 1 . By pulse voltammetry, the linear range of 0.090–900 μM and the detection limit was also obtained, 0.011 μM. Due to the optimal and good performance of this sensor, quetiapine was measured in blood plasma and urine samples and medication samples and was found to be satisfactory.
