Second International Workshop on Renewable Energy Solutions in Mashhad

The International Workshop on Renewable Energy Solutions was recently held at the Pardisan Hotel in Mashhad. The workshop was attended by faculty members, researchers, and professors from Iraqi universities. This workshop, organized by the University of Kashan, marked the second event dedicated to renewable energies.

Dr. Mohammad Nazififard, a faculty member in the Department of Energy Systems Engineering and presenter at the workshop, highlighted the importance of renewable energy solutions. He emphasized that due to the environmental consequences of excessive fossil fuel consumption and the increasing demand for energy, renewable energy sources such as wind power, solar power, geothermal energy, and biomass energy have become more necessary than ever. Dr. Nazififard also noted that both developed and developing countries are focusing on renewable energy production as a key policy. Therefore, the development of renewable energies can contribute to economic, social, and environmental development, which is crucial for achieving sustainable development.

Following the success of the first workshop on photovoltaic solar energy power plants held in January at the University of Kashan, there was significant interest from faculty members and researchers from Iraqi universities and institutes. This second workshop focused on practical solutions and technology utilization for clean energies, including an analysis of obstacles and solutions in the creation and utilization of renewable energy technologies. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants received a Certificate of Attendance.
