چکیده مقاله

MgSO4:Dy andMgSO4:Cu nano-rods(NRs)weresynthesizedforthe first timebysemico-precipitation method. X-raydiffraction(XRD),scanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM)andenergydispersivespectro- metry (EDS)wereutilizedforsamplecharacterization.Theoptimumamountofdysprosiumandcopper concentrations wereobtainedbothat0.1mol%inMgSO4:Dy andMgSO4:Cu NRs.Tm-Tstop and compu- terized glowcurvedeconvolution(CGCD)methodswereusedforidentifyingthenumberofcomponent glow peaksandkineticparametersofthesynthesizedNRs.Initialriseandvariableheatingratemethods werealsousedtoensurethereliabilityofobtainedkineticparameters.ResultsshowthattheTLsensi- tivity ofMgSO4:Dy isabout7timesmorethanthatofmagnesiumsulfatedopedwithCu.TheTLdose response ofMgSO4:Dy andMgSO4:Cu NRsarelinearuptoabsorbeddoseof10KGy.OtherTLdosimetry characteristicsoftheproducedNRsarealsopresentedanddiscussed.
