Preparation of Copper( ) Complex Stabilized on Magnetic Iron Nanoparticles as a New and Recyclable Catalyst in One-Pot Preparation of Aminonaphthoquinone Compounds

Abstract

Regarding the signifcance of medicinal and pharmacological sciences, we explored one-pot multicomponent reaction of aromatic aldehydes, aryl amines and, 2-hydroxynaphthoquinone in the presence of [Fe3O4/EDA]Co(II) as a novel, stable and strong catalyst. The remarkable features of this approach are good to excellent yields (90 99%), short reaction times, low catalyst loading, reusability and stability of the catalyst. The prepared [Fe3O4/EDA]Co(II)was identifed via XRD, EDS, and FT-IR techniques.
